PermaRock Products Ltd Insulated Render System Wins INCA Award - Hotel Category
PermaRock Products Limited was the winner in the INCA 2009 Awards Hotel Category. The awards, sponsored by the Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA), are designed to highlight projects of excellence within the field of insulated render.
Ramada Encore Hotel, Chatham, Kent was chosen as the overall winner in the hotel category where Permarock striking through-coloured render in exciting colours from black to red was used on the facades (alongside contrasting oak rainscreen cladding) with bright coloured render panels at the front of the building.
The specifier, McLaren Construction, chose the PermaRock insulated render system, incorporating 130mm of mineral fibre lamella and mounted on a steel frame structure to the first floor, with remaining floors and walls of pre-cast concrete, to produce U-values in excess of Building Regulations. The system designer was PermaRock Products Ltd; the installer, George Howe Ltd.
