Summary of the Project

The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) Building in Earlsdon Park, Coventry is a new £110 million development near the city centre. It is the new offices for the Authority who are the first government department to re-locate from London.
The 10-storey building incorporates a range of different facilities:-
• Residential apartments
• Office accommodation
• Restaurants and bars
• Shops
• Cafes
• Multi storey car park
ECL were appointed by John Sisk and Sons to design and install the lightweight steel framing, terracotta rainscreen cladding and external wall insulation system with a decorative render.
The building was awarded a BREEAM rating of excellent, becoming one of the first buildings outside of London to be awarded this.
