Reflecting Government thinking the Bellway Housing Trust, is a new subsidiary of Bellway plc, and has been created to provide first time buyers and those on moderate incomes with a vital step on to the housing ladder.
Bellway Homes, an approved investment partner of the Housing Corporation, is one of the country�s top housebuilding companies. By concentrating each operating division on a specific region, Bellway Homes and now the Trust are able to establish close working relationships with Local Authorities and Registered Social Landlords. The Trust will work with Local Authorities to provide quality homes for local people on moderate incomes at a purchase price they can afford.
The Trust is not a housing association but it is able to provide affordable housing without the need for social housing grant in an efficient manner. Surpluses created by the Trust�s operations will be recycled back into affordable housing.
